District meets for singles and doubles postseason play are set for Saturday, May 16. Assignments for those tournaments are now available below. 

The IHSAA State Individual Tennis Tournament will be played on May 27-28 in Iowa City (2A) and Waterloo (1A).

Team substate meets will take place on Wednesday, May 20. Assignments for team postseason will be released May 8. 

Admission to tennis postseason lead-up meets is complimentary. Host schools or sites may charge for parking at surrounding areas. For more information, please view the Tennis page or the Postseason Manual.

CLASS 2A DISTRICT BRACKETS

CLASS 1A DISTRICT BRACKETS

Host sites were announced April 10.

Individual qualifiers from these meets advance to the 2026 IHSAA State Individual Tennis Tournament, set for May 27-28 in Iowa City (2A) and Waterloo (1A).

Each class will feature 16 state singles qualifiers and 16 state doubles qualifiers out of eight district sites. With the adjusted format that was implemented in 2023, district tournaments will have no impact on substate assignments or team state tournament qualification.

2026 SUBSTATE BRACKETS

Substate team tennis tournaments are currently set for Wednesday, May 20 in both Class 2A and Class 1A. The substate semifinals and finals will take place at one site on May 20 in a four-team set bracket.

The top 32 teams selected to participate in this year’s substate team tennis tournament will be notified and receive brackets no later than Friday, May 8. Dual times are as follows below, unless otherwise noted. Eight qualifiers in each class will advance to the 2026 IHSAA State Team Tennis Tournament, set for June 2-3 in Waukee (2A) and Pella (1A).
