2025-26 Plan

The IHSAA will enter an exciting new era for video in 2025-26, managing state tournament broadcasts and streams for the first time.

Below are basic initial questions and answers about our plan for the future.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

The IHSAA is concluding its longstanding media rights arrangement with the Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN) at the end of the 2024-25 athletic year. Through new productions and partners in 2025-26, IHSAA will reset where viewers can find IHSAA state championships on television and online.

Our goal is simple: Provide easy and accessible state tournament coverage to serve our student-athletes, schools, and Iowans.
