Sites for tennis district singles and doubles meets in the 2023 IHSAA postseason are now available. District assignments and substate team assignments will be available the week of April 24.
These meets are currently set for Monday, May 8 in both Class 2A and Class 1A. The rain date for these events is Tuesday, May 9.
Individual qualifiers from these meets advance to the 2023 IHSAA State Singles & Doubles Tennis Tournament, set for May 23-24 in Iowa City (2A) and Waterloo (1A). Each class will feature 16 state singles qualifiers and 16 state doubles qualifiers out of eight district sites.
With the new team postseason format in 2023, district tournaments will have no impact on substate assignments or team state tournament qualification.
