026DES MOINES, Iowa – Due to severe weather during Thursday’s semifinals, the remaining schedule of the 2026 IHSAA State Soccer Tournament has been shifted.
Severe weather postponed the Class 2A semifinal between Unity Christian and Des Moines Christian at Mediacom Stadium Thursday evening. The game will be made up on Friday at 9:30 a.m. As a result, the Class 2A final will be moved from Friday night to Saturday morning.
Start times for Friday’s set finals matchups in 3A, 4A, and 1A are currently unchanged.

Tickets purchased for Game 4 on Thursday, June 4 will be honored at the 9:30 a.m. game on Friday, June 5.

DES MOINES, Iowa – Thursday’s schedule at the 2026 IHSAA State Soccer Tournament will be adjusted to start early due to forecasted severe weather in central Iowa.
The Class 1A and Class 2A semifinal schedule on June 4 at Mediacom Stadium will move up two hours each:
- Class 1A Semifinals: 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m.
- Class 2A Semifinals: 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m.
Participating teams will receive their usual 30 minutes of warm-up time ahead of each game. Play at Mediacom Stadium is required to be concluded by 11 p.m. nightly.
Gates will open to spectators at 9 a.m. on Thursday. Tournament tickets are good all day.
Winners from Wednesday and Thursday’s semifinals are scheduled to compete again at Mediacom Stadium in Friday’s finals. The current Friday, June 5 schedule is unchanged:
- 12:00—Class 3A Final
- 2:30—Class 4A Final
- 5:00—Class 1A Final
- 7:30—Class 2A Final
