IHSSN: FREE SEMIFINALS & FINALS

Iowa High School Sports Network viewers can stream the traditional tournament semifinals (Friday night) and finals (Saturday night) for no cost through their computer or IHSSN apps. For TV viewing, semifinals will be broadcast on IHSSN’s Cable Network and the finals on IHSSN’s Broadcast Network. The IHSAA neither owns nor operates IHSSN.

FLOWRESTLING INFORMATION

The IHSAA’s state championship broadcast provider, the Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN), has an agreement with FloWrestling to carry video from every round of the 2022 state tournaments. IHSSN previously carried every round through pay-per-view on TrackWrestling. However in February 2021, FloWrestling acquired TrackWrestling and its broadcast rights.

To view the dual tournament and all traditional tournament rounds, FloWrestling is available through an annual subscription at $150 per user.

If a user does not wish to remain a FloWrestling subscriber following the IHSAA’s tournaments (Feb. 16-19), they will have to go to FloWrestling to cancel their subscription. Users can cancel at anytime.

The IHSAA receives no additional funds from IHSSN’s agreement with FloWrestling.

STATE WRESTLING CENTRAL

The state of Iowa is known as the breeding ground of high-caliber wrestlers, and this culminates every year with the sold-out wrestling championships at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The IHSAA’s 2022 State Wrestling Championships will take place from February 16-19. The state dual team tournament takes place Wednesday, followed by the state traditional tournament from Thursday through Saturday.

State WRESTLING Spectator Information

Masks required of all spectators and attendees at Wells Fargo Arena.

To reduce the transmission of COVID-19, public health guidance recommends social distancing of at least six feet and wearing masks which cover the mouth and nose. The IHSAA will follow City of Des Moines mask mandate guidance requiring every person two years of age or older to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth when in a public place, unless they qualify for an exemption or are actively participating (wrestlers, officials) in the event.

Jan. 21 Release: Capacity limited at Wells Fargo Arena
