STATE WRESTLING CENTRAL
The state of Iowa is known as the breeding ground of high-caliber wrestlers, and this culminates every year with the sold-out wrestling championships at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. For the first time, the IHSAA State Dual Tournament will take place at Xtream Arena in Coralville on Saturday, February 4. The IHSAA’s State Traditional Tournament will take place from February 15-18.

State WRESTLING Spectator Information
Wells Fargo Arena & Xtream Arena have implemented a clear bag policy for all events. A maximum size of 12″x6″x12″ is permitted. Exceptions will be made for bags containing items required for medical, family, or child care.
Ticket Information
Tickets are required for all attendees two years and older.
Duals: On sale starting Jan. 24, sold through Xtream Arena. All seats general admission. Two sessions: 9 a.m. & 6:30 p.m. All online orders will include a $3 order fee from Xtream Arena.

ENTRY INFORMATION
Duals: All spectators should enter Xtream Arena through the northwest entry at the corner of E 9th St. and E 2nd Ave.
Traditional: All spectators should enter Wells Fargo Arena through the south doors or the west doors connected through the skywalk with Iowa Events Center.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Printed programs from the IHSAA are for sale for $5 each at State Duals and the State Tournament.
HOW TO WATCH STATE WRESTLING
There are three ways for fans to catch the action at the 2023 IHSAA State Wrestling Championships…
1. Tickets: Spectators tickets to the 2023 IHSAA State Dual Team Tournament and the 2023 IHSAA State Traditional Tournament are available through their venues at Xtream Arena and Wells Fargo Arena.
2. IHSSN: The Iowa High School Sports Network will provide coverage of the dual team tournament’s finals and the traditional tournament’s semifinals and finals for free through its livestreaming platforms and its cable and network television partners.
3. FloWrestling: Streaming from every round of the dual team tournament and traditional tournament can be viewed through a subscription to FloWrestling.
IHSSN: FREE SEMIFINALS & FINALS
Iowa High School Sports Network viewers can stream the dual team tournament finals (Saturday, Feb. 4) as well as the traditional tournament semifinals (Friday, Feb. 17) and finals (Saturday, Feb. 18) for no cost through their computer or IHSSN apps. For TV viewing, semifinals will be broadcast on IHSSN’s Cable Network and the finals on IHSSN’s Broadcast Network. The IHSAA neither owns nor operates IHSSN.
FLOWRESTLING INFORMATION
The IHSAA’s state championship broadcast provider, the Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN), has an agreement with FloWrestling to carry video from every round of the state tournaments. IHSSN previously carried every round through pay-per-view on TrackWrestling. However in February 2021, FloWrestling acquired TrackWrestling and its broadcast rights.
To view the dual tournament and all traditional tournament rounds, FloWrestling is available through subscription.
If a user does not wish to remain a FloWrestling subscriber following the IHSAA’s tournaments, they will have to go to FloWrestling to cancel their subscription. Users can cancel at anytime.
The IHSAA receives no additional funds from IHSSN’s agreement with FloWrestling.
MEDIA CREDENTIAL REGISTRATION
Dual Team Tournament: Registration required by 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2.
Traditional Tournament: Registration required by 12 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13. Media guidelines for the 2023 event available HERE.
IHSAA offers credentials to approved media outlets. Freelance or independent requests will not be approved for photography or videography.
Qualifying schools may receive one complimentary credential for school media representatives (school newspaper, yearbook, website, etc.).
Radio and audio outlets should apply for credentials through the Iowa High School Sports Network.
