Basketball: Media Access
The form below is for media members to apply for access to the 2021 IHSAA State Basketball Tournament.
MONDAY, MARCH 8 through FRIDAY, MARCH 12
Registration will be required ahead of each date of attendance. Please mark the associated dates with the selected representatives below. Only select the dates of coverage required for your teams.
Radio and audio outlets should apply for credentials through the Iowa High School Sports Network.
Credentials for entry will be sent through Iowa Events Center and Iowa High School Athletic Association starting Friday, March 5 to email addresses of representatives provided below.
Registration dates will be removed at 10 a.m. on the preceding date to finalize credential lists. Example: Be signed up for Tuesday by 10 a.m. on Monday, be signed up for Friday by 10 a.m. on Thursday, etc.
IHSAA CREDENTIAL ALLOWANCES
The IHSAA will credential newspapers, other print or web-based publications, and television stations on a daily basis for this event. One pass is good for one representative for one day.
All of these outlets are subject to video rights and regulations from the Iowa High School Sports Network.
The following limitations will apply:
Newspapers: The following allotment includes all personnel (reporters, photographers, editors, etc.).
- Up to three (3) representatives each day for: Des Moines Register, Cedar Rapids Gazette, Dubuque Telegraph Herald, Waterloo Courier, Burlington Hawk Eye, Quad City Times, Sioux City Journal.
- Up to two (2) representatives for all other newspapers.
Television: Up to two (2) representatives per day. This includes videographers, interns, and any other personnel.
Internet Media: Up to two (2) representatives per day, unless authorized by IHSAA.
School Media: School media representatives (newspaper, yearbook, website, district, etc.) may be one (1) adult OR up to two (2) students. Purchased ticket and administrator letter required upon arrival. Please do not register through the link below.
