SPECIAL NOTE: Athletic Directors, Coaches & Tournament Managers

Attention Coaches:
Please be sure to fax us your tournament questionnaire that was sent in an earlier mailing. In that questionnaire, we ask for names of your district qualifiers along with any previous place winners at the state tournament. Please call our office 515-432-2011, if you do not have the “Questionnaire for State Tournament Wrestling Program” form.

The names of state qualifying wrestlers will be placed on the IHSAA website throughout the evening of Wrestling Districts (February 18) as they become available. Please call Sunday morning with any spelling corrections. You will have until 8 a.m. on Sunday, February 19, to call with those changes. The easiest way to insure your wrestler(s) name, grade and record are accurate is to double-check the information with your District Manager.

Also, be prepared to give the grade and record of your wrestler(s) at your respective seeding meeting.

Attention Tournament Managers:
As 1-A & 2-A Sectional Tournament Managers forward the results from sectionals to their respective District Tournament Manager, please be sure those results include the grade and updated record for each qualifying wrestler as indicated on the Sectional Report Form. You will have gathered this information at the seeding meeting and carried it through the pairings, so your final Sectional Wrestling Report Form indicates the grade and updated record for each wrestler who qualifies for district competition.

Similarly, we ask that 1-A & 2-A District Tournament Managers carry forward each wrestler’s record, so your final District Wrestling Report Form indicates the grade and updated record for each State Qualifier.

For 3-A District Managers, you will gather this same information at your seeding meeting and carry it through the pairings, so your final District Wrestling Report Form will also indicate the grade and updated record for each State Qualifier.
